Induction Furnace Melting
Dyson Thermal Technologies (Precision Ceramics) are able to supply a full range of materials for use with Induction Furnace melting facilities. This involves a variety of production techniques covering casting, dry powder mixing and iso-pressed ceramics. Crucibles These are available in cast or iso-pressed shapes covering a range of materials and capacities. Material qualities range from:- -
Zirconia for extreme conditions of temperature and excellent resistance to acid slags. -
Chrome Alumina for increased slag resistance and high temperature copper melting. -
High Alumina for a range of alloy and stainless steels. -
Magnesia for good resistance to basic slags and non wetting by Ni, Co, Fe based alloys. -
Alumina Mullite for rare earth alloy melting. -
Zircon for precious metal melting and assay work. Sleeves These are produced in a range of sizes and product qualities which include Sillimanite and Alumina Mullite. T Pot ladles and pouring spouts Transfer ladles are available in a wide range of capacities with or without syphons in Sillimanite type materials, Mullite or Chrome Alumina. Furnace pouring spouts are also available in Sillimanite. |
