Glass Forehearth

Dyson Thermal Technologies (Precision Ceramics) are capable of supplying large blocks for forehearth arch blocks, burner blocks, bottom blocks and channels. Our customized production facilities enable us to accommodate the largest blocks and to machine them to tight tolerances.

Channels

These can be supplied in a range of materials which include sillimanite, sintered mullite, zircon alumina and zirconia mullite.

Forehearth Superstucture

Supplied in a range of materials which include, sillimanite, sintered mullite, and zirconia mullite.

Bottom Blocks

These are generally 40-60% Alumina / Sillimanite.

Glass Furnace Patching Materials

During the latter part of a production units life, there are instances when repairs are essential. We have available top quality heat setting materials designed to repair worn areas, which can be applied by ramming, patching or troweling.
