Profile Setters

Profile setters provide support to maintain the shape of bone and vitreous china flatware during biscuit firing.

Due to the individual nature of the different articles, our present range of profile setters may not suit your requirements. Should this be the case, setters can be designed to customer requirements.

Face up or face down styles may be produced as appropriate as well as profiles with or without a built in spacer leg.

At Dyson Thermal Technologies (Kiln Furniture). We have the technology to produce samples of profile setters much quicker than having to make a new die or samples from an existing die.

This has the advantage that the customer can check the line of the profile by firing his product on the sample before approving a new die. Also any modifications can be made again before manufacturing a new die.
